Apps built for one person that turned out worth sharing. Each one has a public repository.

Ariadne

A self-hosted organiser for the output of image generators such as ComfyUI. It reads prompts and settings straight out of the files, keeps ratings and tags in SQLite without touching the originals, and adds a query language for search, a perceptual-hash duplicate finder, a small editor, and metadata tools on top. Python and Flask on the back end, one dependency-free HTML page on the front.

Ariadne runs a small Flask server on your own machine and opens a browser tab. Point it at a folder and it fills a thumbnail grid progressively, with cached thumbnails so reopening is near instant. Ratings and tags live in a database rather than in the files, so the originals are never moved unless you ask.

It reads generation metadata (prompt, model, sampler, seed, and the rest) from ComfyUI, A1111, and EXIF-based files, including workflows that used a prompt list, and a small query language searches one folder or the whole library. A perceptual-hash duplicate finder, soft trash with restore, copy, move and zip, a crop-and-annotate editor, tag suggestions, multiple libraries, and JSON export round it out.

Plutus

Plutus tracks clients, contact handles, notes, and every payment in one dependency-free HTML page, autosaving to a local JSON file through the File System Access API with a browser-only fallback. An insights screen of hand-drawn SVG charts breaks revenue down by client, month, platform, and recency, with drill-down and CSV export. No server, no account.

One HTML file, no build step, no server. Plutus keeps a card per client with contact handles, tags, notes, and a last-contact date, and a payment log under each one with edit, delete, and undo. Several ledgers can live in one data file, each with its own currency.

In Chromium browsers it writes the whole database to a .json file you choose, half a second after every change; elsewhere it works in browser-only mode with backup and import. The Insights screen is built from hand-drawn SVG: an explorer that stacks revenue by client over any window with drill-down and CSV export, plus around twenty charts for trend, cumulative earnings, top clients, cohorts, gaps between payments, and more.

BDFR GUI

A single-file Tkinter app that wraps bdfr's command line. Keep a list of Reddit users, pick which to fetch, set limits and sort order, and save presets. It streams bdfr's output live, previews the exact command it will run, and can stop a download cleanly.

  • Python
  • Tkinter

A small window around the Bulk Downloader for Reddit’s command line. Keep a list of usernames, tick the ones to download, set a limit and sort order, and save all of it as a preset. The exact command is previewed as you change options, bdfr’s output streams into a log pane, and a Stop button ends a run cleanly. The GUI itself uses only Python’s standard library; bdfr does the downloading.
